Joshua Maier
Joshua recently graduated from Cairn University in May 2023 with a BA in History and a BS in Bible. While at Cairn, he founded Cairn’s chapter of the Thomistic Institute, worked as a Resident Assistant and tutor, and also volunteered in Cairn’s ESL teaching group and the Hilltown Township Historical Society. His proudest academic achievement was the completion of his senior Honors thesis, “Sanior scholasticus: The Protestant Reception of Thomas Aquinas (1517-1590).” As an aspiring Historian, Joshua applied to work under Dr. Steele Brand, the head of Cairn University’s Politics, Philosophy, and History program. He is now the PPH Graduate Assistant, where he works to grow the program and further develop his historical and administrative expertise.
